1. Data Processed by Our Tools
Many DevKnightUtils tools are designed to process input locally in the browser, which reduces unnecessary exposure to external services.
However, local-first processing should not be interpreted as a blanket security guarantee. Users should still apply their own internal security policies and review how they handle sensitive material.
If you work with the following kinds of data, they should still be handled with appropriate caution and according to your own internal requirements:
- Internal API specifications and configuration files
- Tokens, secrets, and other credentials
- Personal, regulated, or customer-related data
- Proprietary source code, drafts, and internal documentation
2. Data Collected Through Navigation & Analytics
While many tool workflows are designed to run locally, we do collect certain anonymous, aggregated, and non-personally identifying information when you browse the site. This helps us maintain the service, understand usage trends, and support the project through advertising.
2a. Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how users interact with our Service. Google Analytics collects information such as your approximate geographic location, browser type, device category, pages visited, session duration, and traffic source. 2c. Monetag (Advertising Partner)
We also work with Monetag (monetag.com) as an additional advertising partner. Monetag's data collection and advertising practices are governed by its own Privacy Policy, available on the Monetag website. As stated, no tool-input data is stored by us. Analytics data (via Google Analytics) is retained by Google for up to 14 months by default and is subject to Google's own data retention policies. Advertising data collected by Google AdSense and Monetag is retained according to their respective policies.
5. Children's Privacy
DevKnightUtils is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from users under 16. If you believe a child under 16 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
